At night
Unspoiled starlight.
Free from light pollution, our grounds offer exceptionally dark nights. You will enjoy front-row views of the Patagonian night sky and an incredible density of stars right from your porch.
On moonless nights you can see the Milky Way.
From the deck you can see the Southern Cross, the Magellanic Clouds and the Milky Way with the naked eye.

The moon
Moon or no moon, both nights are worth it.
With no moon the sky goes black and the whole Milky Way comes out, with the Magellanic Clouds. A few days either side of the new moon are very dark too.
With a full moon the whole valley lights up: the snowy hills glow, the lenga trees cast shadows and you can walk without a torch. There are fewer stars, but it is another unforgettable night.

To go out and look
What to have with you.
- Proper warm layers
- Even in summer, nights are cold and it can be windy.
- A red torch
- It won’t dazzle you. Without light, your eyes adjust on their own in about 20 minutes.
- Something hot
- Mate or tea on the deck, and patience: a satellite always goes by.
Come and see it from the deck.
